11th InterNational Inhalation Symposium

Benefits and Risks of Inhaled Engineered Nanoparticles
June 11 - 14, 2008, Hannover, Germany

AUDIENCE

The symposium is designed for an international audience of clinicians and inhalation scientists from government, industry and academia. Ten very well attended and successful symposia on the subject of inhalation toxicology were already held in Hannover in 1987, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, and 2006. Titles of these symposia were:

  • Airborne particulate matter: Relevance of particle components and size for health effects and risk assessment (2006)
  • Effects of air contaminants on the respiratory tract – interpretation from molecules to meta analysis (2003)
  • Crucial issues in inhalation research – mechanistic, clinical and epidemiologic (2001)
  • Relationships between acute and chronic effects of air pollution (1999)
  • Relationships between respiratory disease and exposure to air pollution (1997)
  • Correlations between in vitro and in vivo investigations in inhalation toxicology (1995)
  • Toxic and carcinogenic effects of solid particles in the respiratory tract (1993)
  • Advances in controlled clinical inhalation studies (1991)
  • Assessment of inhalation hazards (1989)
  • Inhalation toxicology (1987)
